Our passion is the modern dual purpose merino
The merino sheep is a fantastic animal, growing a high quality sustainable wool fibre and producing fantastic lamb.
Lamb
We produce merino lamb and are continually improving our lamb. Typically our lamb is grass and forage crop backgrounded pending our season with wethers sold direct to processors or alternatively to feedlot operators.
Surplus Ewes
Each year we sell a selection of ewes and ewe lambs surplus to our requirements. We consistantly wean 100% to ewes joined and this allows our surplus ewes to be sold.
Wool
We aim to produce a bold crimping, well nourished wool of 18 micron. Typically our ewes produce 17.5 micron wool at 1.5yrs of age increasing to 18 to 19 micron in our older ewes.
